Thank you for granting our request to purchase the Banking Math for Today’s World book. The students in the High School Special Education Program are already benefiting from working on math assignments from this book. We are currently having Apps installed on the three iPads thanks to your generosity for providing our program with these iPads and an iTunes account. These varied Apps will provide our students with additional practice with enunciation, articulation, counting money and skills to use in social situations. We are thankful for the existence and generosity of your foundation. We are very happy for students to be able to experience education delivered in a variety of ways and have access to these new and valuable resources.

Dear San Juan Public Schools Foundation:
Thank you for accepting our grant request which made it possible to purchase a one year subscription to the Job TIPS Toolbox Pro. We were excited to receive this online program which we use daily to assist our students in the Transition Program portion of the High School Special Education Department. Our students find it to be an interesting program which gives them insight into what type of work environment best suits them. For students currently involved in internships in the community, we are using Job Tips Toolbox Pro to further boost their practice and experience in the workforce. For other students we are using this resource to help them determine their career interests. We are also using templates and samples from the program to support students in building resumes, cover letters and learning about the varied steps necessary to find, apply, obtain and keep a job. We are very glad to be able to provide these resources to our students and are truly grateful for your support for making it possible.
